From cracking and whisking eggs to sprinkling and pouring ingredients, there are lots of ways for for kids to assist with this delicious Frittata. Your kids will also LOVE it if you set up a yogurt-making station. Ours did!
Take a moment to share some nutritional information about this meal with your kids. Your kids can learn about which FOOD GROUP each ingredient belongs to and all about this meal’s featured ingredient: EGGS.
Here are some creative ways for your kid to be your personal Sous Chef as you make our Catchall Frittata. Simply hover over each image for details. Make sure your little dudes wash their hands before starting!
This recipe involves a lot of simple, kid-friendly tasks like pouring and mixing. Kids can:
ADD butter, sausage & veggies to pan
This is a fun and simple task for toddlers.
CRACK eggs into a bowl*
Kids can use a large egg shell piece to help grab any little shells that broke off into the egg bowl.
WHISK together the egg mixture
SET TIMER for frittata
This is a good chance for kids to learn about cooking times.

Consider setting up a yogurt-making station, much like a sundae bar (which they’ll love). Children can:
SCOOP yogurt into bowls
Kids can even use an ice cream scooper.
DECORATE the yogurt
Kids can sprinkle fruit and squirt honey onto the yogurt.
*Note: For toddlers especially, these tasks require adult supervision and/or assistance, as items may be sharp, hot or otherwise dangerous.
