There are lots of ways for kids to help make our Crunchy Taco Salad with Pasta & Ranch Dressing! The hardest part will be keeping them from snacking on the ingredients during the process!

🍴TORTILLA CHIPS🍴
- Tortilla chips are made from corn tortillas that are cut into triangles or wedges and then fried.
- The word tortilla means "small cake" in Spanish.
- February 24th is National Tortilla Day.
- Rebecca Webb Carranza is considered to be one of the pioneers of commercial tortillas chips. In the 1940s Carranza had the idea to fry and sell the misshapen tortillas produced at her tortilla factory in Los Angeles.
- Tortilla chips can be high in calories, yet if eaten in moderation, they can be a good source of carbohydrates, fats and other nutrients.
Here are some creative ways for your kid to be your personal Sous Chef as you make our Crunchy Taco Salad with Pasta and Ranch Dressing. Simply hover over each image for details. And make sure your little dudes wash their hands before starting!
🍴MEAT🍴
To help cook the meat, kids can:
Break up ground turkey as it cooks
Measure and add taco seasoning to meat

To prepare the noodles, kids may:
Bring water to a boil
Try Noodles!
🍴SALAD🍴
To prepare the taco salad, kids can:
Help chop veggies *
Combine meat with veggies, noodles and cheese
Stir taco mixture together
Crush tortilla chips
