Here's a fruit-based, edible craft for the Holidays! These Strawberry Santa Hats couldn't be easier, and your kids can make them all on their own!
Course Dessert, Snack
Cuisine American
Prep Time 5 minutes minutes
Servings 10 strawberry santas
Calories 30.9kcal
- 10 strawberries stems removed
- 1 banana sliced
- whipped cream
- 1/3 cup melting wafers white
Peel and slice a banana into thin, round slices. Slice off strawberry stems.
Squirt a dollop of whipped cream on top of each banana slice.
Place flat side of sliced strawberry on top of the whipped cream-coated banana.
Add a final, small dot of melted wafers to the top of your strawberry Santa hats. Now, serve and enjoy your festive treat!
- Serve strawberry Santa hats right away, as whipped cream can melt quickly. If they stand too long, they tend to fall apart.
- If your Santa treats are a little wobbly, you can use sucker sticks or toothpicks to hold them together .
- If kids are taking the lead on the chopping, we love these Curious Chef Children's Knives for little hands.
