Place apple on a cutting board, core side up. Slice apple ÂĽ-1/2 inch from core.Â
Rotate apple 90 degrees and cut again until all four sides are removed. Set aside core.Â
Place apples quarters cut side down, and slice into ¼-½-inch pieces or your desired thickness.
- Be sure to use a sharp knife- like chef's knife- to get clean cuts and avoid bruising.
- Make sure the apple is completely dry so it doesn’t slip while you’re cutting it.
