Ingredients

Instructions

  • Create two marshmallow monsters or ghosts. Use icing to glue candy eyes to their faces. Draw facial features on marshmallow using a food coloring marker.
  • Assemble kabobs. Stack ingredients on your skewers in the order that you like. We recommend starting by threading a marshmallow onto your skewer, followed by a strawberry, melon and grape. Repeat the pattern as desired until your skewer is full.
  • Optional: Tie a ribbon underneath each marshmallow to make a bowtie for your marshmallow monster or ghost.

Notes

  • Supervise little ones as they assemble skewers, as kabob sticks can be sharp at the ends.
  • If packing these Halloween fruit kabobs for school, opt for dull or blunt skewers, such as plastic cocktail straws, to ensure safety for younger children.
  • Allow food coloring marker to dry before assembling skewers so that ink does not smear.
  • Push fruit close together on the skewer, making sure there are no gaps between the pieces. This helps the fruit support each other and gives the skewers a fuller look.
  • Chill kabobs in the fridge until ready to serve. Our kabobs are delicious served cold!
  • Elevate the sweetness by drizzling some melted chocolate over kabobs!
